I've drank Numi® teas in the past, but didn't know this tea house existed, nor did I realize how many different teas the company packages. As I mused over the different teas available for consumption and/or purchase, I thought to myself "A good cup of exquisite tea is just what I need to get my afternoon into a soothing, relaxed place. So, I went into the tea garden and found the inside to be just as peaceful and inviting as the outside surroundings. I was so surprised to stumble upon this oasis in an area that is a complete mixture of industrial and loft work/resident spaces. It's tucked in a cul de sac and offers not only a peaceful surrounding, but a delightful tea house, complete with extensive offerings of teas and light food! I had just finished lunch and thought I would pickup a tea for afternoon sipping at home while relaxing and listening to Williams-Sonoma®'s Blue Smoke - Barbeque Jazz CD. I chose to steep a pot of Numi® Magnolia Puerh. I found it to be a delightful blend of black tea with a sweet floral hint. As I listened to the soothing sounds of Keb' Mo', Aretha and others, I was reminded that Spring with it's magnolia trees strutting their stuff and outdoor barbeques is just around the corner. I can't wait to try some of the other Numi® organic teas. I plan to return real soon with a girlfriend or two for a "Grownup Tea Party!"Brooklynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07544794747198263268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7684708429651893597.post-14965952791916211992010-01-28T10:52:40.455-08:002010-01-28T10:52:40.455-08:00Ditto to above.
