What's better than dinner and a movie? Coffee and a good book.

Anyway, tonight I'm excited to couple my cup of Pike's Place with "Star Island," the latest novel from Carl Hiaasen.

"Star Island" as in Miami. Getting my "bi-coastal" groove on with something from each coast.

Saturday nights are not just for parties. They're also for reading about the people who do.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
