Patriot Beverage Company Launches National Crowd Funding Campaign on IndieGoGo, Friday, July 6th

Funds Will Aid Company’s Ongoing Support of Semper Fi Fund and America’s Fund



Novato, CA (July 6, 2012) -- Patriot Beverage Co., creators of ReUp energy drink, will launch a national crowd funding campaign on website Indiegogo on Friday, July 6th to support the companies mission of creating an ongoing source of donations to military nonprofits Semper Fi Fund, and America’s Fund, who provides financial assistance to all wounded service members and their families who have suffered an injury in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

“With the current expansion of our business we will be able to continue support to these charities for years to come,” said Michael Spearman, Founder of Patriot Beverage Company. “Supporting our company through the Indiegogo campaign will be the equivalent of providing a fishing pole to a person so they can live forever as opposed to giving them a fish to live for the day.”

The Semper Fi Fund and America’s Fund give 95 cents of every dollar they take in to military families. Patriot Beverage Co. provides a percentage in excess of 2% of every can sold to the two charities. The beverage company made its first donation from quarterly sales of ReUp energy drink to the Semper Fi Fund in May of 2012.

Indiegogo is an international crowd funding website founded in 2008. Based in San Francisco, the company has hosted over 100,000 funding campaigns in areas such as music, charity, small business and film.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
