Don't let the "hipster" vibe discourage you.  Coffee Bar San Francisco has really good coffee.

 While the "per cup" price is not good for a budget, the coffee is actually quite superb.

 I must confess that I'm a little "intimidated" by the coolness of the customers and baristas.

 Which is why I sneaked in the other day, grabbed a bag of "Golden Gate" blend beans, paid at the register and quickly ran out the door.  It was the end of the day and a lot of the hipsters had already headed to their hipster bars for the evening.

 Coffee Bar serves "Mr Espresso" which is probably one of the best kept secrets in the coffee world.  I'm not sure how much it's enjoyed outside of the Bay Area but it's selected and oak-wood roasted to perfection.

 It's great to be a "hipster" in training in the privacy of my very own home.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
