Old Katy Coffee

The internet is an amazing thing.  You never know what is going to pop up in your feed.

 Luckily for me, it was someone raving about Old Katy Coffee.  My first reaction was, Old Katy Coffee?  I mean, I know Texas is a big coffee drinking state, but if this was so good, why hadn't I heard about it?  

 I was curious enough to order a bag to find out if it was indeed great coffee.

 I purchased a bag of the dark roast offering and it's true what they say.  Texans know their coffee.

 Until I make my next trip to Katy, I might have to subscribe online.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
