Old Katy Coffee - Micro Roasted - Mega Quality

I'm up to my third cup of Old Katy Coffee today.  Please don't tell anyone.  Especially those people I may have told that I'm cutting back on caffeine.

It's sort of hard to do when the days all tend to blend together.  And since I'm not leaving the house, might as well enjoy good coffee while I'm here.

Old Katy is one of my very favorite micro-roasters and mainly because they are truly "micro roasters."

Each bag looks and tastes like it was made especially for me.

There's a lot to be said about taking your time and doing things in small quantity.

I've never had a bad bag of beans.  And for that, I'm grateful.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
