"Where Do I Begin to Tell the Story of How Great a Love Can Be?" Capresso's Coffee Á La Carte

Confession:  I was intimidated by this machine.  How could one machine make a single serve cup of coffee, without a K-Cup and brew a carafe of coffee without a filter?

But once I overcame the fear, I was able to push through the process and enjoy the ease, simplicity and fabulous-ity of the Capresso Coffee Á La Carte!

The concept gently compresses the coffee and I found that it can make even a "mediocre" coffee taste better.  AND, it also brews tea!

I've been testing it for a few weeks now, and I couldn't be more pleased.  In fact, I think it's going to be hard to use anything else.

Just when I thought I couldn't love an automatic coffee maker more than my Capresso thermal, Capresso takes it up a notch.

How Things Work
Adjust coffee's strength by adding as much or as little ground coffee to the filter up to 60 grams per cup. Cup platform and carafe are interchangeable to switch from brewing a single cup to full carafe. The quick-heat 2.2 bar Italian-made pump system always brews to the optimal temperature above 200 degrees F.

"(Where Do I Begin?) Love Story" is a popular song published in 1970, with music by Francis Lai and lyrics by Carl Sigman. The song was first introduced as an instrumental theme in the 1970 film Love Story. The lyrics were added after the theme music became popular.

*Capresso provided me with a free Coffee Á La Carte Coffee and Tea Maker for the purposes of preparing this review.

Comments

  1. Love to drink espresso that is made by a special process--forcing hot water through some finely ground coffee--so your regular coffeemaker will not cut it. espresso manufacturers vary from a simple two-chamber pot to totally automatic machines.
