New Week - New Coffee - Zocalo Coffee

I am always super buzzed when I discover a new independent coffee roaster.

Recently, I was gifted a bag of Zocalo Coffee in the Flourish blend.  I am embarrassed to say that I didn't even know this gem of a roaster existed in San Leandro.

The Flourish is a lighter roast than I normally drink.  Very pleasant.  I can't wait to try the other blends.

Zocalo is woman owned and operated.

Grab your mug!  You don't want to sleep on this one (pun intended).

Wonderful way to begin my week.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
