I Can See Clearly Now! Summer Sunrise Blend (™) from Green Mountain Coffee

Image
Summer's here.  And to celebrate Green Mountain is offering its Limited Edited Summer Sunrise coffee.   This is a medium-roast coffee with a "bright" flavor that gently wakes up your taste buds.  Not overpowering but definitely  not weak.  I'd say it's "just right" for a bright Sunshiny Sunday morning.   Make it easy on yourself.   Keurig(™) can help.  Available at Cross Country Cafe .  $14.25 for 24 pods. *" I Can See Clearly Now " - written and performed by Johnny Nash in 1972.

Eight-O-Clock Columbian Peaks K-Cups(™)

The past few nights have been full of evening chores.  Those are the times when you don't want to brew a full pot of coffee.  Just enough for yourself.  That's when the Keurig(™) comes in so handy. What's even better than having the single-serve brewer on hand when you only want enough coffee for yourself is having a single-serve coffee that really tastes good. Enter the Eight-O-Clock - you heard right - Eight-O-Clock Columbian Peaks. This medium roast is so good that I've started popping in a pod in the mornings too.  Just to get me started before I move up to the "big guns." Get yours without leaving home at Cross Country Cafe .  1-888-774-6939 13.75 for a box of 24 K-Cups®.  A great coffee at a great price. Wake up and smell the Columbian Peaks.  You can almost smell it here!

Perkd Up! Coffee Wars Brewing in the San Francisco FIDI

Image
It's on and perking!   There is a battle brewing in the Financial District in San Francisco and I couldn't be happier. There are more than enough folks in search of caffeine to fill the cups and line the pockets of all the roasters in town. As if we weren't lucky enough to have a Philz coffee truck right at the corner of Pine and Sansome, within a two block radius, up pops a brand new beautiful Blue Bottle Coffee store AND a neatly hidden treasure of a " Coffee Cultures ."   Go just a couple blocks over and lining Montgomery Street, you've got Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf , The Coffee Bar , Peet's and no less than two Starbucks stores. Wake up and smell the coffee, San Francisco. Your morning commute just got better!

Around the "Whirl" to Vienna With Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf K-Cups

Image
Viennese K-Cups(™) from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf My latest K-Cup(™) adventure has taken me to Vienna.  Vienna in the form of a single serve from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.  A while back, I reviewed the Coffee Bean's Whole Bean Vienna and loved it. So, when I walked into the coffee shop and spotted the Viennese K-Cups (™) and realized I was out, I had to try it. Same delicious bold roast with hints of chocolate.  Perfect for those mornings and night when you only want one cup. $11.95 for a sixteen pack box and I got a free cup of coffee with my purchase!  #winning
