Have you ever been up around Buffalo Gap, Texas?

Me either.  But I know someone who has.  And that super special, incredibly thoughtful person introduced me to Perini Ranch Steakhouse's Cowboy Coffee.

Who would expect a steakhouse to have great coffee?  This blend has quickly made it to my top ten list.  You know, that ever growing, evolving top ten (did I say top ten?  I mean top twenty) list of all-time favorite coffees.

These Texas cowboys really know their coffee.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
