A Cup Is Not Just a Cup

My first cup of the day means so much more to me than "just a cup of coffee."

It represents a new day - another chance. Sort of like "liquid hope."

I started today with a cup of Catahoula Kenya Peaberry. I drank it out of one of my favorite mugs.

My friend, Celeste, sent me this mug in 1998. It was a rough time in my life.

The cup simply says "Someone In Houston Loves You."

That's all.

Morning Thunder Tea by Celestial Seasonings

I have yet to meet a Celestial Seasonings tea I didn't like. Doesn't mean there aren't any. I just haven't tried them. Anyway, since it's not even 10 a.m. and I've already had two cups of strong coffee, I thought this would be a good time to find out what my daughter has been raving about. Black tea + mate = delicious flavor . I can't even describe this one. It tastes like - tea. Good tea. You'll have to trust me on this one and check it out for yourself. If you're like me, there are some days where you have to take it down a notch from the coffee. I think this Morning Thunder is a happy medium. Thank God It's Friday!
