For those who like coffee with muscles - Ascension Coffee "Beefcake" Roast

One of my Texas people turned me on to this coffee a couple of years ago.  

What a great find.

Small farms.  Hand crafted.  Roasted and shipped fresh.

This is my first time trying the "Beefcake" Roast.  But, it won't be my last.  It's a medium dark roast with notes of cherry.  South American blend.  Texas tough.

I'd order just for the smell when I open the bag.  The taste is the bonus.

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
