Happy 100th Birthday Julia Child

Bonjour!

In honor of what would have been Julia Child's 100th birthday, I baked a batch of homemade blueberry muffins this morning.

They're not puff pastry, but for a Wednesday, it's not a bad effort, right?

These muffins go so well paired with a hot cup of coffee. For me, it's San Francisco Blend from Martha & Bros. Coffee.

This is what I like to call a "double-header."

Although, now that I think about it, I probably should have brewed a French roast. There's only one solution - I'll have to eat another muffin and brew a pot of French Roast!

Morning Thunder Tea by Celestial Seasonings

I have yet to meet a Celestial Seasonings tea I didn't like. Doesn't mean there aren't any. I just haven't tried them. Anyway, since it's not even 10 a.m. and I've already had two cups of strong coffee, I thought this would be a good time to find out what my daughter has been raving about. Black tea + mate = delicious flavor . I can't even describe this one. It tastes like - tea. Good tea. You'll have to trust me on this one and check it out for yourself. If you're like me, there are some days where you have to take it down a notch from the coffee. I think this Morning Thunder is a happy medium. Thank God It's Friday!
