Sunday Best - Starbucks Reserve (T) Zambia Peaberry (Terranova Estate)

I got really excited when I heard that this new Starbucks Reserve (TM) coffee was coming a few weeks ago.

And as timing would have it, Starbucks Reserve Zambia Peaberry Terranova Estate arrived in my local Clover (TM) store just around the same time as payday.  Woo-hoo.

Chocolately, fruity, flavorful, dark and smooth.

I love Peaberry* coffees and this one lives up to the hype.

14.95 for an eight ounce bag.  I won't brew it every day, but it sure makes Sundays special.  And a pretty good motivator on Monday mornings as well.

Limited offering.

*  Peaberry, also known as caracoli, is a type of coffee bean. Normally the fruit ("cherry") of the coffee plant contains two seeds ("beans") that develop with flattened facing sides, but sometimes only one of the two seeds is fertilized, and the single seed develops with nothing to flatten it. This oval (or pea-shaped) bean is known as peaberry. Typically around 5% of all coffee beans harvested are of this form.
Normal coffee beans are less commonly called by contrast flat berry.  (from Wikipedia)
