Gevalia Kaffee Dark Royal Roast - Simple and "Fancy" from Cross Country Café

I used to order Gevalia Coffee many years ago.  

 Back then, Gevalia would send you a free coffee maker with your first order.  I hadn't thought about their coffee in a very long time.  Not until Cross Country Café sent me these "Dark Royal Roast" K-Cups to review.

 First impression:  Very nice logo photo on the K-Cup itself.  
Second impression:  The proof is in the cup.


Third impression:  One, two, three sips - nothing remarkable.

 Fourth sip and final impression - rich roast, smooth coffee, not bitter, easy-peasey.

 Ready for my second cup!

Morning Thunder Tea by Celestial Seasonings

I have yet to meet a Celestial Seasonings tea I didn't like. Doesn't mean there aren't any. I just haven't tried them. Anyway, since it's not even 10 a.m. and I've already had two cups of strong coffee, I thought this would be a good time to find out what my daughter has been raving about. Black tea + mate = delicious flavor . I can't even describe this one. It tastes like - tea. Good tea. You'll have to trust me on this one and check it out for yourself. If you're like me, there are some days where you have to take it down a notch from the coffee. I think this Morning Thunder is a happy medium. Thank God It's Friday!
