It's easy to see why the Capresso CM200 Coffee Maker won the 2010 Good Design Award. It looks like it should be sitting on a granite counter in a trendy loft in Soho. Except I don't have a trendy loft in Soho. But I do have a Capresso CM200. Its sleek design hardly takes up any space on my counter. And, as you know, with all the coffee "apparti" I have, space is in short supply. But thanks to Capresso, good coffee is just a pot away!

    Wow!!! This coffee maker sounds like just what I've been looking for. I've used my old Cuisinart for over 8 years and have been looking for a limited-counter-space-friendly model. The price is just in my range and the design is beautiful and sleek. Thanks for the tip. I will check w/Bloomies today to see if they carry this machine. Happy Perking!

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
