I swear there's always something happening in this town. And what a way to start Friday. FREE. That's right FREE Coffee-Mate! I tell you the folks at Coffee-Mate really know how to jump start a weekend. And the "Mates" that were serving up samples at the Embarcadero Four in San Francisco were so darn nice.

I walked away with this photo and a coupon good for one free Coffee-Mate (liquid or powder) worth up to 3.99! I mean "free-99."

All Time Favorite Coffee Jingles

I have consumed a lot of coffee over the last couple of decades, but it's mainly through "trial and error," "word of mouth," or "pure luck," that I found those I've enjoyed the most. And, of course, the folks who reach out and let me know about the great coffees that are out there. But with micro roasters becoming more and more popular, and grocery store coffee being talked about less, even though many supermarket varieties are very good, I can't help but remember some of those jingles and television commercials that remain etched in my mind.
